Cindy, thank you very much for your answers! Following up on Dave's feedback, could I do a test right now?

TEST: ITForum as a Collaborative Knowledge Construction Environment

I am a learner (graduate student) who wants to know more about asynchronous learning styles. It's my experience that teachers often impose their learning styles on learners with different learning styles. I've been thinking about doing an experiment: organize a sample of undergraduate students and divide them in two types of learners: reflective or impulsive (e.g., by means of a conceptual tempo test or by simple asking them about their learning styles). After that I expose the learners to two different "treatments" with the same subject: "How do computers work?"

(1) A structurized, ready to consume, multimedia production.

(2) An electronic platform where the learners in collaboration with each other build their own multimedia production titled: "How do computers work?"

Media type number one is easy to organize, but my question is how could I organize media type number two? How could I evaluate the different experiences of the learners and the different learning outcomes?
