It appears to me that everything mentioned so far relates to the program. The program needs to be interactive, the program needs to allow for learner control, the program needs to provide etc., etc. The program therefore has got to be many things, as every user is quite different. Therefore, should we be looking at "programming" the user (learner) first on how to use CBT-IMM before they use it? Just like we "program" (teach) people to read before we give them textbooks.

Maybe this could be pre-interactivity.
