Because I believe that human interaction still affects us more profoundly than any technology, instructional or otherwise, I should have given due and proper credit to my fourth grade teacher whom I mentioned in my previous message. Her name was Mrs. Bramley-Moore and I guess she had been teaching quite a few years before I became one of her students. She went on to teach many more and I attended her retirement party after I had finished university.
It was also about that time (circa 1960) a television appeared in our class to help teach us geography. I certainly enjoyed it. But, it was a pilot or experimental project, I suppose, and it never reappeared that year or later.
