I agree with Gabi that there are too many messages, and the information density of the messages is decreasing. Can I suggest that Lloyd moderates the list. That is, all messages have to be OK'd by him before the rest of us get them. In this way, we can be protected from adverts for spelling programs, invitations to visit other institutions and discussions about the weather, as well as requests to join or leave the list.

ITForum's strength and cause for popularity is the discussion of Instructional Technology. It would be a shame to lose this amongst the chit-chat! In my humble opinion.
