I have to congratulate [Ian Hart]--I had never before considered the ethics of Freud, but will certainly check out his writings. It seems as if he was ahead of the curve on this issue. I appreciate your comments, too, regarding the need to check with someone prior to using his/her words or ideas.
I share your concern regarding the trivial nature of some types of research on the Internet--I am not sure it is due to unwillingness to get off the bum, but I do ascribe some of it to a desire to be "where things are happening" without taking time to look at the literature and research already compiled.
Thanks for the support, and I would welcome suggestions for making sure the "Guidelines" better meet the community's needs.
